Switzerland is one of the countries with the strictest privacy laws in the world. These laws require the following:
- Phones must not send any data abroad
- Metadata (who, when, where) must not be collected
- Applications must not collect data in the background
- Information on the device must not be accessible from the outside
- End-to-end encryption (E2EE) must be at the highest level
- User data must not be viewable even by the company
- When the government or third parties request data, access must not be possible
